Fran Campos
Fran Campos is a Spanish DJ whose relationship with electronic music stretches back to the 1990s, with a present-day sound that moves from techno, electro and deep house through halftime, drum & bass and ambient.
Vinyl remains central to his practice, as does a preference for deep productions with dub as a common thread. Rather than fixing himself to a single tempo or genre, Fran works across different shades of contemporary electronic music while maintaining a sense of weight, space and continuity in the mix.
His trajectory began with the Move and Skyzoo collectives before he joined the resident team at Le Club and the organisation of Observatori festival in 2000. He later founded the monthly Black Label parties at Miniclub, held residencies at Jerusalem Club and Caravaca's Proper Club, and organised and played the legendary Taiga parties.
