ABSIS
Barcelona-based electronic artist ABSIS draws on more than two decades in club culture, moving between deep techno, experimental electronics, half-beat and ambient with a sound shaped by patience, detail and low-frequency space.
As ABSIS, Salva Coromina Massó works across tempos, threading complexity with depth and atmosphere. Releases on Hivern Discs, Affin and Oslated reflect that range, while his wider practice extends through Grabaciones Perpendiculares and collaborative projects including Atàvic (with Estrato Aurora), Absira (with Marco Ragni) and Sonic Wave Collective (with Spear and Cyklos).
His relationship with Barcelona's electronic scene reaches back to the late 1990s, including earlier work as mouseDown/MouseUp, a residency at The Loft at Razzmatazz and a long-standing connection to Sónar. Today he is a resident at Mostra and runs regular Midline events at Laut, making ABSIS a pillar of the city's club, experimental and listening cultures.
